Review: Pokemon Black & White

Pokemon has continued to be incredibly popular all over the world since it’s 1997 release. The franchise spawns many games per year but only the titles named after some kind of colour or mineral are seen as the “true” Pokemon series entries which have followed the same base design since the originals. This month saw the release of the newest entries in the true games, Pokemon Black and Pokemon White versions. Do these games offer enough change to keep them going?

Is Apple a True Contender in Video Games?

Apple are continously gaining ground within the video game market. Once a computer company, Apple have begun to tap into the gaming industry by releasing increasingly powerful handheld devices such as the iPhone and iPad which developers are already making big money from with more developers creating or porting games over to the devices. Could Apple really compete with the likes of Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft?

Should Nintendo and Sony be viewing Apple as a threat to their handheld ground?

We Did It. We Played the 3DS !


Yesterday was March 4th. Strangely enough today is March 5th.

Yesterday marked two key things for me, no global tragedy or anything like that but it was the day I finally got to hold a 3DS in my hand. The other being the end of my “no-pokemon information until March 4th” task as Pokemon Black & White were released in Europe. For both of these occasions myself and two others made our way to Liverpool nice and early for the second day of the Liverpool 3DS demo event.
